I am really looking forward to this one in what I feel could be the game of the round. Spain travel to Oslo to face Erling Haaland and Norway knowing that a victory would virtually secure Euro 2024 football with just Georgia and Cyprus to play next month.  Both sides are just separated by two points as chase Scotland at the top of Group A.

Last time out, Norway secured their third consecutive win with a 4-0 victory away against Cyprus and got us some great profits off the Bet Builder. Norway need nothing less than a win against La Roja to keep their slim chance of qualification alive so I see this as being a very open game that will see some goals.

Spain continued their relentless pursuit of qualification with a contentious 2-0 victory over Scotland in Seville on Thursday night, thanks to the controversial Video Assistant Referee.  Although they were far from impressive, I see them having far too much for the Norweigans.

Norway may have one of the best strikers in the world, but like I stated in my previous article, Haaland compared to his ridiculously exceptional form last term, big Erling has been quitter and a Steve Clarke tactical masterclass nearly marked him out of the game when Scotland beat Norway on their own patch late last season.

I’m sceptical about his potential impact, and if he fails to deliver, Spain should have a relatively easy path to victory. Luis de la Fuente’s team has been in good form lately, having secured convincing 7-1 and 6-0 victories against Georgia and Cyprus, respectively, before their aforementioned 2-0 win over Scotland on Thursday.

While Haaland has looked impressive against the weaker teams in the group, he and his team have fallen short in both of their encounters with the top two teams in the group so far.  Spain handled the Scandinavians with ease in a comfortable 3-0 victory during the reverse fixture in March.
