We turn our focus back to Asia for Tuesday’s Daily Double, looking for a fourth Daily Double win in a row!!! The AFC preliminary round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers are underway, with 10 second-leg ties to look out for. We’ve picked out two of our most confident bets for this double.
First up, we have an early start in Guam at 5:45 am (British Summer Time) as Singapore comes into this match with a 2-1 lead from last Thursday. Guam is on an alarming 11-game losing streak, and the signs suggest that this trend may continue on Tuesday morning.
Singapore took a 2-0 lead on Thursday, and while a late Jason Cunliffe goal got Guam back into the tie, however I believe Singapore will get the job done here. They’ve suffered only one defeat in their last seven games (a friendly against Tajikistan) and have seen at least two goals scored in all of their last five matches. Guam, on the other hand, has conceded two goals or more in 9 of their last 10 games, a statistic that cannot be overlooked.
For the second selection, we’re backing Hong Kong to win by at least two goals against Bhutan, a team they defeated by four goals last Thursday. Bhutan has lost 8 of its last 10 games, conceding a total of 26 goals while scoring only six. Hong Kong won 4-0 against today’s opponents last Thursday and dominated Brunei with a 10-0 victory last month, showcasing their prolific goal-scoring form.
Hong Kong’s star striker, 32-year-old Everton Camargo, who plays for Lee Man Warriors, is in red-hot form, having scored 7 goals in as many games, including a goal against Cambodia last month and providing an assist last week. Expect him to continue finding the back of the net.
