The already qualified Slovakia heads to Bosnia to take on Savo Milošević’s team, which has been defensively unstable in the last two matches. They’ve conceded a staggering nine goals in their previous two outings, suffering a 5-0 defeat against Portugal and a 4-1 loss to Luxembourg.
Having gathered only nine points from as many games, Bosnia has been eliminated from contention, conceding a total of 18 goals while scoring eight. Slovakia aims to penetrate their defence in Zenica on Sunday evening, presenting a promising opportunity for a victory with at least two goals scored.
The former Aston Villa striker Milošević only took over Bosnia in September but apart from a 2-0 win over the lowly Liechtenstein, he’s lost the two aforementioned games and things do not look good for him. Slovakia has managed to score at least two goals in five of their last eight games, including a 2-0 victory against Bosnia in the previous group match back in March this year.
