France hit the Round of 32 with the strongest momentum of any side left in the tournament. Three wins from three, ten goals scored, and at least three goals in every match underline just how sharp their attacking unit is. Mbappé already has four goals, Dembélé produced a 32‑minute hat‑trick against Norway, and France’s recent results — 3–1 vs. Senegal, 3–0 vs. Iraq, 4–1 vs. the Norway B Team — show a team that overwhelms opponents with pace, depth and finishing quality. They are creating chances at will, and they rarely leave a match without landing multiple blows.

Graham Potter’s Sweden are not the type of opponent France simply silence. Their front three of Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyökeres and Anthony Elanga (2) has combined for four goals in the group stage, and Isak with three assists. They have scored in every match and consistently carve out good chances. The problem is at the other end: Sweden have conceded 20 goals in their last nine, haven’t kept a single clean sheet, and the injury to centre‑back Isak Hien removes their most reliable defensive presence. They can score but they cannot keep teams out.

France should dominate the game, create the bulk of chances and ultimately win, but Sweden’s attack is sharp enough to land at least one punch. Both sides trend heavily toward high‑scoring matches, and Sweden’s defensive fragility paired with Les Bleus’ attacking form makes France to win and both teams to score the standout angle. I think we will see a 3–1 or 4-1 victory for Didier Deschamps’ men.

Kylian Mbappé may not have scored against Norway, but he still walked away with two assists, adding to the four goals he already has at this World Cup. His form coming into the tournament was outrageous: 25 goals in 31 La Liga matches for Real Madrid and 15 goals in 11 Champions League games. Against a Swedish defence that has conceded 20 goals in their last nine matches and have not kept a single clean sheet, Mbappé is going to be in his element here.

He’s already punished Iraq and Senegal in this tournament with two goals in each game, and Sweden’s current defensive issues make a repeat entirely plausible. With Isak Hien out and Sweden struggling to contain even mid‑tier attacks, Mbappé should find space, chances, and mismatches throughout the game. At 4.33 with BetVictor, the price on Mbappé to score a brace looks bigger than it should be given his output, his underlying numbers, and the leaky Swedish defence.

The foul double is simply a stats‑driven play at a strong price. Michael Olise and Anthony Elanga are both tricky wingers who consistently draw fouls. When each has played more than 60 minutes, both have been fouled two or more times in eight of their last ten matches for club and country. Elanga drew five fouls against Japan in Sweden’s final group game, while Olise was fouled twice in both group fixtures against Senegal and Norway. The numbers support this angle and the price makes it worth taking.
